My chosen genre- coming of age

I have chosen the coming of age genre which focuses on the growth of a protagonist from childhood to adulthood. I chose this genre as I find it to be extremely comforting because it focuses on themes of progress, self-discovery, and overcoming challenges. These stories offer reassurance through characters’ struggles and eventual growth, presenting nostalgia and reminding viewers of their own relatable journeys.
