Introducing character conclusion
Movies introduce characters in the opening scene through a mix of visual cues, dialogue, camera work, and sometimes voiceovers, all designed to establish their traits and role. A character’s appearance, body language, and the use of camera angles convey their personality or status, whereas actions or interactions imply their skills and conflicts. Dialogue and voiceovers provide insight into their thoughts and reactions from other characters help explain their character. The setting, music, and foreshadowing further understand the character, creating an introduction that sets the stage for their journey. For my chosen movies…
The Black Swan makes use of body language, camera angles, and music whereas The Devil Wears Prada employs music and juxtaposition.
